How it works
Tell me exactly what kind of pet portrait you’d like – choose a background, or keep it plain. Add text such as your pet’s name, and decide on your printing requirements.
Once you have received and approved your quote for a drawing, I’ll ask you to pay a deposit to secure your order and reserve a place in my calendar.
Email me photos of your pet for me to use as my drawing references.
I will work on your drawing starting on the date we’ve agreed on. Once I have finished I will send you a preview to get the green light to progress to printing and framing (as required).

Tips for choosing the best photos to send to me
Natural lighting is best. If possible, make sure the photographs you send to me are bright and represent your pet’s colourings accurately. Photos taken outside or near a big window are good for this.
If you have requested a head and shoulders portrait, I only need a selection of photos that clearly show your animal’s face and neck. Of course, if you’ve requested a full-length illustration, please make sure you send me photos that show what they look like from head to paw.
Think specifically about any particular features you’d like illustrating, e.g. your dog’s white-tipped tail – and be sure to make sure that I can see this in the images you email to me.
Think about the angle of the photos. Front-on pictures taken at eye level with your pet are great, as there won’t be any perspective distortion. This will give me an authentic idea of the way they look in real life. Always keep in mind that I only have your snaps to get to know your animal and that I have never met them “in person”.
Send me clear, sharp, high-resolution images where possible. Blurry photos make it difficult for me to get to know your beloved pet’s character properly.
